Still Life is a curated collection of photographic work published by Identity Printers & Finishers. It documents how ten creatives explored personal ideas and changed perspectives while the commercial world stood still during the 2020 lockdown. The project was conceived as an opportunity for Identity to bring their creative network together to produce a meaningful body of work in a considered piece of design and print.

The ten selected photographers captured the mood of the moment by observing their immediate surroundings. The work was engaging and enquiring, even when the restrictions on making were so impactful.

The book’s naked sewn binding alludes to the raw intimacy of the personal experiences exposed in the images. The high-gloss dust jacket provides a striking contrast to the exposed book block.
