Myllia is a biotech company working to fast-forward drug discovery by combining CRISPR screening with single-cell RNA sequencing. Their powerful proprietary approach involves screening hundreds of thousands of single cells in each experiment.

Highlighting the vast scale of the company’s cell screening method, we coined the name Myllia, a compound word combining ‘million’ and ‘myriad’. Unique and ownable, the name stands out in a heavily saturated biotech sector.

The logotype features modified geometric letterforms with repeated circular elements that suggest multiple data points and precision. The simple identity system, with its solid blue colourway, makes a bold side step from the more layered and overworked imagery and graphic styles commonly associated with the industry.
